Below is the start order for Saturday’s heat of ADMA’s 2017 Midnight Sun Gold Run. This year’s races will be in memory of Lefty Schallock, who was extremely active in ADMA as a board member and a racer, and his family is sponsoring the race. Lefty was known for his purple one piece snow suit; all drivers participating in the Midnight Sun Run will be encouraged to wear something purple in his honor. There will be a prize given for best purple at the end of the weekend.
All start orders and starting times are final as post entries are not accepted for limited-class championship races. All classes start at 2-minute intervals with a minimum of 30 minutes between classes. Drivers or their designated representatives must check in on race day at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their scheduled race. Check-in times are given below.
There is no cutoff temperature for championship races, so we’ll race this weekend regardless of how chilly our morning temperatures are.
2-Dog Skijoring Class (6.2 miles)
Class starts: 11:00 a.m.
Check-in deadline: 10:45 a.m.
10-Dog Class (12.5 miles)
